DJ Mag

It was probably a bit flattering when we received a call from DJMag in London. Our expertise in Drupal development and theming has spread not only in the DACH region but has also been noticed internationally.

The brief was to create a completely new front end for the main DJMag.com website. Of course, the website’s appearance has changed somewhat in the meantime, but the web isn’t much different than music. Trends come and go, and designs are constantly being optimized and adapted.

The screen design was implemented using a living style guide to keep the footprint as small as possible and maximize performance. We’ve since implemented additional ad containers and developed a Drupal-based voting module, which is used for the world-renowned Top 100 DJs & Clubs voting. Thanks to AWS’s server power, it seamlessly handles tens of millions of page views to select the crème de la crème of the DJ and club scene year after year.
