Besides implementing a new screen design for DJ MAG, the most popular DJ magazine worldwide, Zensations also built a powerful voting app based on Drupal that handles the dozens of millions page views from the popular Top100DJs and Top100Clubs votings. That moment at the beginning of 2015, when we received a call from DJMag London. Needless to say, we felt a bit honoured. Our expertise in the field of Drupal development and theming obviously got recognized beyond the borders of Austria and Germany. The mission was to create a completely new frontend for the main page DJMag.com. Of course, the website’s look has been undergoing some changes in the meantime. That’s a thing, web design and music have in common: trends come and go, designs are continuously optimized and adapted. The screen design has been implemented by using a living style guide, in order to keep the footprint as low as possible and maximize the performance instead. In the meantime, we implemented more ad containers and developed a voting module on the basis of Drupal. This module is used for the world famous Top 100 DJs and Clubs chart votings. Thanks to the server power by AWS it handles several dozens of millions of page views without any difficulties and helps elect the créme de la crème of the DJ and club scene every year. 2015 – ongoing
